The capital is compact and easy to navigate. Parking in the city is available (paid zones, €0.50–1/hour). The old Ottoman quarter (Stara Varoš) and the river banks are worth an afternoon.
Europe's largest bird reserve is right on Podgorica's doorstep. Drive south on the E65 and turn off at Virpazar. Fill up in Rijeka Crnojevića before the lake shore road — the next station is far.
Head north on the E65 highway to Montenegro's mountain resort town. Biogradska Gora national park has one of Europe's last primeval forests. In winter, Kolašin is a ski destination — snow tyres are required (included in our fleet Nov 15–Mar 31).
Take the E65 south toward Virpazar, then west through the mountains to the coast. The road through Rijeka Crnojevića is one of the most scenic in Montenegro — narrow, slow and worth every minute.
Yes — this is our most common Podgorica booking. Fly into Podgorica, explore the north and centre, then return the car at Tivat Airport when you fly out. A one-way drop fee applies; contact us for the exact amount based on your rental period.

Cross-border travel is permitted to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina — Green Card international insurance is included. Travel to Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia requires prior written authorisation; contact us before booking if you plan to cross those borders.
